Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

I think it`s a shame that she`s no longer in the band, as she was such an integral part of their sound. It will be interesting to see who sings for them, on the next album .

It will be interesting to see, but, from what I've heard, she really was getting far too corporate and money-hungry, which didn't jive well with the rest of the band. She, apparently, is the reason the American tour didn't happen, because she didn't think there would be enough profit in it, and if that's true, then I truely think the band will be better off with another singer. She -was- a big part of the way the band sounds, but as long as their amazing instrumental quality is there, and they don't go crazy trying to find someone who can match her voice (it would throw things off with it being close and not exact in my opinion) and just focus on finding another amazing voice, then all will be well in my opinion.
In other news, I'm still listening to Imogen Heap...I'm addicted to her all over again. "Getting Scared" is such a good song.

horrorgirl,
That`s a good album, I remember seeing them on the `Clash of the Titans` tour in 1990, and they were really good. I`ve still got the `Possessed to Skate` picture disc.
What do you think of D.R.I ? (another cool band).

I never got to see Suicidal, I am very jealous! However I did get to see GBH and the Circle Jerks back then so I didn't have it too bad! ;-) I used to own some D.R.I, but I think my ex took them when I left him. Good band!

Bad Religion - Suffer
This album and No Control are their best, in my opinion.
I'm hyped on coffee right now. *twitch*

A God amongst men, in my opinion. His music brings out the best in me.
