Ooh, Deviant Kitten, can I post my best bad traits?:P
I am possessive and jealous. This stems from mistrust, I suppose. I can't believe that someone could care about me as much as I care about them.
I have refined my "post-match" analysis to an art. Sometimes I'll spend days mentally tearing things - what people around me do or say - apart looking for the negativity or an intent to hurt me. I like seeing those of whom I am jealous taken down a peg. It makes me feel big. Also, I am instant gratification hawk.
Right, with that off my chest I'll try and post my best good trait
I'm adventurous.
When I let down my guard I can be very kind and generous and comforting.
I wish I could think of more... Feck it, it's easier to find bad traits in yourself than good, isn't it? *mopes*

Of course! We want to hear about the good and the bad here (maybe even the ugly, too!) I just thought I'd introduce a little positivity into the thread.
Hmm, how very unlike me. Maybe I should go lie down...

Sadly, yes. It's always easier to pick holes in ourselves than find something we like.
Then again... you said "feck"! I'd say that using the word "feck" conversationally counts as a good trait

Ahem, I apologise for my over-zealous use of the "F" word. But thank you, Deviant Kitten.

Noo! Don't do it, Sobeh!
On the other hand, as long as it's amusing and not life-threatening (to you at any rate) then feel free to film it and post it here!

You're welcome
Oh, and there's no such feckin' thing as over-use of "feck", ok?

My best traits? I think I'm a lot more intelligent and mature than most other students at my university, and I'm the only goth on campus! :P

One of my good traits: I am a great friend, I honestly would die to save them. I am helpful and always there for them. Too bad one of them doesn't realise the value of our friendship. Hmm...

Back to my bad traits now that I have had time to think. However nothing that involved to much thought, I have not bothered that much. I think about five minutes tops.
I am stubborn
I can be very gullible if I do not keep up my wits
I am blunt
Hmmmmm there are many others but I think this will suffice.

A current bad trait: I begining to actually hate. Not just a general dislike.. pure unadulterated hate. And honestly, it hurts.

*nods* Another bad trait... an abrupt and fervent desire for revenge.

I want one
Another one of my worst traits, I can be very elitist.

Good call. Speaking of which, I went to Hot Topic today (boredom) I had to leave as soon as I saw a cute blonde sporting gap gear walk in and begin to shop. I didn't even think about it, it was a natural reaction.

Ok, I have to take what I said back.
Elitism is not the word I was looking for.
I tend to consider myself better than others.

How about some vanilla ice cream instead of the frosting?
Oh, and I must object to the line "I'll be your boss if it makes giving it to me any more valid!!!" After all, if taken out of context it might get me into trouble... *dirty smirk*
I only have two more shifts at that rotten job anyway, so I'll soon be able to bid my chocolate cake-stealing, tip-hogging, motivational game-playing boss goodbye! *cheers loudly*
Yep, DK's got herself a new job! I'm starting next Tuesday. It's full-time so I hope I'll still be able to come here lots and chat to you guys. Meh, I'll find time somehow - I'd miss you all too much if I didn't!

I'm still waiting for mine (bloody British postal system...) so in the meantime I shall have to use my cat as protection against the forces of light. Well, I've often called him Darth Kitten on account of his disturbing and occasionally demented behaviour!
Who is it that's provoked your hatred, Sanctus? Sorry if that's too personal a question.

Ah inevitably this thread drifts back to the worst trait angle... It's true we find it a lto easier and maybe nore fun to point out what we lack...
I'd like to add one more:
I just can't control myself. I just can't shut up. Even when I know that a situation will only disintegrate in my disfavor if I express how I feel at that given moment. I just have to have my say.
It links back to that instant gratification thing.

I know I've posted some bad traits already, but here's another, plus some good ones:
Bad news first - I'm a pompous intellectual (it comes from doing undergrad at the University of Chicago). Boy, am I ever. "Plato's Dialogues are fantastic. What, you haven't read them... oh. I'm sorry." *sneer*
Good news - I'm a wealth of useless information (yes, I do consider this to be positive). I know all sorts of random facts that tend to be useful at awkward points in conversation, or at parties.
I listen well. I think this comes from having a parent who is a psychologist. I like to offer constructive criticism. I feel that I am very diplomatic in my dealings with others, and honest, when called to be (though I don't think I'm dishonest - I'm a bad liar, so I generally just don't say anything if I don't want to lie).

Interesting...
How do you deal with a situation when someone asks you outright and you don't want to tell them the truth, for their own benefit?
