Well, be sure to show us your work if you ever use them!

Spray paint would be interesting. I'd like to try either it or airbush (or both) sometime.

This is a drawing I did recently. I'm thinking of using it as a base for my website, which I'm redesigning.

Well I figured that it was about time to show you all some of my work so here you go
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y10...tortedhope.jpg
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y10...sconfusion.jpg
please be kind I am kind of shy about showing my art, although at the same time I would love to eventually start selling my work so any constructive criticism would be helpful

And these were done by my boyfiend Jake (he isn't happy with them but I think he did very well concidering it was the first time he painted anything since elementary school art class)

Solumina, I like the first one you did, typically I favor art that looks like something, but I think you have a great eye for color. Your boyfriends second painting would look really cool as a t-shirt. I mean that in a good way.

Keep up the good work both of you!

Lena is right, you do have a very good eye for color, and that's not really something you can learn. I like how the first one has depth to it, they both have a dazzling effect on the eye that draws me in. Also you photographed the pieces very well. I love how the first one is framed by that purple fabric, it looks silky. Very nice composition and presentation. Tell your boyfriend he has raw talent and that with practice it will become more fine tuned.

So, you're Katy Jones? Or just stealing her work and posting it as your own?

Well cheers for standing up for artists' rights corporalaccident - I hope someone does the same for me when people really are trying to pinch my work. I am also Flyttamouse on Deviant art here http://flyttamouse.deviantart.com/
and if you look at my gothic.net public profile you'll see I have www.katyjones.co.uk as my website. Not that any of that proves anything...if you wanted to be a bit more sure you could send Katy Jones an email via the Katy Jones site and I'll reply....

Thanks very much for the comment on the Fruitful Tree Nike. It was quite a mind-numbing piece to do, but worth it in the end...

Haha. My friends have been ripped off in the past, so I'm accustomed to seeing people who try to pass of other work as their own. No worries though, you definitely proved your identity

I love your work. It's amazing!

Hey Castle, the Wizard's cheeks are blushing! OK...

1) Rough pencil sketch till I get something I like.
2) Detailed, accurate, fine-line pencil good copy.
3) Ink over.
4) Finish on PC using Paint Shop Pro.

If you want to choose one, I'll post you a pictue. Add me to your buddy list if you like and if you say it's ok, I'll add you to mine.

I've only been doing my art for about four years and made my first sale last year! (Hey, I'm a pro-artist... almost). I haven't exhibited that much yet, though I took part in a mixed show this Easter in St Ives, Cornwall, UK which was pretty terrifying as most people are just a little more normal than I am!!! Anyway thanks, you made me happy.
