I love Xnguela's room, it reminds me a bit of my bedroom.
My bedroom looks still a bit more colorful and messy, because I've completely decorated my walls with little postcards (on the two biggest walls), surrealistic paintings (on one of the smaller walls), and weird pictures out of fashion magazines (on the other small wall).
I don't have a digital camera or a scanner, but if I can convince a friend to take some pictures, I'll post them here.

I think the pictures of the appartment of the person who started this topic (I can't remember names, I'm sorry) looked very beautiful, but I couldn't live in it. It's too clean and empty and perfect. I need a little mess and a little dust to feel comfortable.
And a little color too, my inner hippie would become depressed in an appartment like that.

I don't really need a roommate, it would just be cool to have someone who doesn't get a headache after being in my room for half an hour.
But I like sleeping naked too, so no roommates for me. Except hot male roommates who don't mind me sleeping naked.

Korova, the place looks fabulous! Congratulations on your first place.
For laughs, here are some photos of the condo I rented when I first moved to D.C. two years ago. It was huge, and I had no furniture whatsoever to put in it, having left everything in Georgia.

I didn't move recently. I moved into my current place in October 2004. It's smaller than the pictured condo (but with a lot more furniture). I gave up space for proximity. Sigh.

I had kind of a crazy month or so, with travel, loads of work at the office, and other things. Nothing dramatic, just had other stuff which took priority over screen time.

Your room pics rox! Mine isn't any better but at least the mindset is similar. I got lots of black curtains plus slipcover and I'm gonna get black rug next. I have blood red couch pillows and a few gothic decorations. I love looking at others' creativity.
