This is my theory about stupidity:
Stupid people are only stupid because no one has taken the time to hand them the information to help themselves. When I see someone call someone else stupid, I realize that they haven't taken the time to try and help the person. While I am guilty of it myself, I still do try and help others who I know are wrong, and aren't doing it just to piss people off.

With that said, there are some levels of stupid (Bush) and insane (Cheney) and pure moronic (Bill O'reilly, anyone?). That I won't go to.
