Tips for a devilock

Well I been thinking of what hairstyle I should get so I thought I'd try the devilock
Anyone got any tips on how i should start or what I need for a devilock?

I used to have one about 15 years ago. I have curly hair so I had to put tons of gel in it and use a straightening iron to keep in in place. I shaved all of my hair except for the patch in front that was my devilock. It was a real bitch growing that haircut out...let me tell ya.

I've always wanted to grow a devilock, but it has been too common for my comfort.


By the way, random thing....
I didn't know that style was called "devilock" so I searched it in Google.
I accidentally typed "evilocks" and google asked me:
