Another newbie here.

Here we go:

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I finished my first year of college, now working as an intern for the summer.

2. Where are you from?
Currently living in USA, Massachusetts

3. Who is your favorite author?
This is hard to narrow down, but I do enjoy Ray Bradbury, Robert Heinlein, and Terry Goodkind the most (at least read their books more than once. )

4. What are your favorite films?
Anything with a decent plot would do just fine.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Flogging Molly. Something upbeat probably.

6. At your funeral?
Pantheist would do nicely.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Relatively quickly. Preferably having done everything I intended to do.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
A wooden one. I don't think I'll be very picky about what kind of box they put me into after I'm dead.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Anything comfortable, not a big fan of radiant colors though.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Doing whatever I want to without thinking of the future.

11. What's your favorite band?
I listen to too much music to pick a single band. As a general rule I listen to a lot of Gothic/Doom/Death metal and Darkwave etc. Very mood-dependent.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
So far only high school/1 year of college and I'm hoping to become an Electrical Engineer.

13. Why did you join?
Haven't been to many gothic forums, so I decided to see what I've missed.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Der Male.

What does "Der Male" mean? Is it "Duh, I'm a male"? Or does "der" have an actual meaning?

*confused*

Umm... welcome anyway.

Are you 'attempting' to speak German here? Because even though I don't know German well, I think it would be 'der mann' not 'der male'

Maybe he meant DERRRRR

As in I'm a stupid male...

Actually, that's probably more like what he meant...
What's with the hostility... he likes, death, doom and gothic metal! And I think he meant the german Der... I hope he did...

Welcome!

Okay... I withdraw my apathy and welcome you... I was only being defensive because my heritage (about 50%) is German...

Cool! I only know a few phrases, and I'm not sure about the spellings. My dad was almost stationed in Germany in the Air Force and he taught me a few things. I'll ask how to spell them, then maybe I can tell you what I know.
