It maybe has potential. I'm hesitant to say much more, because I can't tell which way it's going to go. I don't know Andrew Bourne, so I don't have anything that will reassure me about it...

It sounds nice, but the Edward Scissorhands story has already been done as a musical... and it's called the Phantom of the Opera. They're just too similar subject matter.

I guess I feel the same way I always feel when a new/alternate version of something I love is made: Extremely excited that there might be a cool expansion of the thing I love and Terrified that it might suck.
