What Am I... lol

Hey everyone. My name's Michael. I registered a while back and forgot about it. Anyway, I have a question. What am I? I don't really have a clique I fit into. I listen to metal music like Disturbed, DragonForce, Iron Maiden, and Children of Bodom. I wear a lot of black (shirts mostly, only own one pair of black pants). I don't really know what group I belong to. I'm not depressed, I think my life is good, so I'm not Emo. I'm way to prone to wearing black to be a popular kid. I'm in the JROTC (High School training for the Marine Corps), so I'm definitely not a punk or anarchist or anything. Oh and I'm 80% blind in both eyes, so I really don't know much about the world of physical appearances, so I guess... I don't know. Where should I be looking to find people like me? Nice happy people, who just happen to also enjoy wearing spiky leather collars and handcuffs and listening to metal music. Am I in the right place, or am I wasting all your time. If so I apologize.

I apologize if I have offended you all by not following your practices. But I use a special braille machine called a BrailleNote to get online, so I can't copy-paste the questions. I'm very sorry, and will stop posting if that would be a preferable solution to my misdeed. Again, I did not mean to insult or demean your forum in anyway.

Just take out the drama and you're quite welcome here.

I did not mean to seem overly-dramatic, I just know I can become more than moderately annoying at times.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
Well I'm a high school student. I play the guitar in a local metal band, as well as sing vocals.

2. Where are you from?
I'm from Buda Texas, a small town outside of Austin.

3. Who is your favorite author.
David Wellington

4. What are your favorite films?
All of George Romero's movies.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Heaven Can Wait by Meat Loaf (I know not gothic at all, but I love the song)

6. At your funeral?
Darkness by Disturbed

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
In a quick, but REALLY gruesome way, like a head explosion.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
The coffin-like variety. But it would serve as a table for refreshments since I want my funeral to be a party.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Black boots (standard issue Marine Corps boots), black pants, a black leather vest (no shirt), a leather collar, and spiky leather gloves.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
High school girls thought I was a cute little kid.

11. What's your favorite band?
DISTURBED

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I'm in 10th grade, and I intend to go to college and study to become an author.

13. Why did you join?
I like the gothic subculture.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
The doctor told my mom "It's a boy", for my sake I hope he was right.

We have quite a few members in the central Texas area. If I go to UT Austin, I'll have to make a little gathering.

Hey kid, you don't need a label to hang out here. Enjoy the stay, and welcome!

(I'm impressed that despite the 80% blindness, your spelling is multiple times better than a lot of the members here with fully-functional vision!)

I pride myself in my grammar. I make a few braille mistakes now and then but of course that's to be expected. I'm very glad to be a member here.
