I'm seeing Dir En Grey for the second time this Friday. They still as crazy as the once were?

Harmonica solos? Sounds quite interesting. I'll have to look into them. Yep, they're pretty crazy. I'm so sad they're not VisKei any more though! Did you get to see them when they were?

Well it was (note the 'was') due yesterday, but I had an essay (gnet should have a board for those!) due yesterday, so I am using my 'oopsie credit' for this assignment. But I do not think my teacher would care anyway due to the fact she is in Africa.

Nope, although the signer still dresses like he's in a viskei band at shows. He wore tight white leather and a white tophat onstage and took all of it but his white leather pants off by the fourth song.

If it qualifies as "j-rock", I absolutely love Akira Yamaoka, soundtrack producer of the Silent Hill games.

Yes, I'm a music education/flute performance major. I have to get a basic level of proficiency on all band instruments as part of my degree program. So far I've completed clarinet (yay!) and saxophone (ehh), and now I'm doing oboe, which is lots of fun. And then there's piano... it's not my best subject, haha.
How about you?

I love piano. If you get a piano go for the Yamaha one, it teaches you. Very awesome.

Are you serious? I'm so jealous! When I saw them, he was just wearing a pair of jeans. He's still insane though. He was ripping at his chest and made himself bleed. I'm assuming it was fake blood though, of course. Shinya though, who is my favorite, was just wearing a black button-down shirt with some black pants. I was so sad. Where are all of his pretty dresses?!?

I've never heard of him/her. How would you describe the music style?

Wow, sounds like you'll be very well-rounded by the time you graduate. I tried cello a few years back, but lost interest. Last year, I took a year of piano lessons to help with my sightreading, but I'm mostly a singer. Which is your favorite out of the instruments you've learned?

That's my favorite Phantasmagoria video! But I like ballads better than heavy songs.
What are some J-rock bands that you like? Other than the obvious Dir en Grey.

I checked out some Phantasmagoria, and the Death Rabbits link you posted, so I can at least count those, because I am loving them so far.

The best music video of Phantasmagoria, I think has to be this one:
