Vampire Rave?
Every so often on this page it redirects to Vampire Rave for seemingly no reason.
Is anyone else having this problem, and does anyone know how to remedy it?

Join the club. The redirect is very annoying.
The strange thing is that the page source does not contain any hyperlinks to vampire rave, yet it still redirects now and then.
Temporary solution: Ban this ip 72.51.43.246

I doubt it.
A hacker would do alot more than simply add a redirect to some obscure site.
Btw, what browsers are you using?

Well, I'm sure that not all hackers want to destroy our PCs...
In any case, I'm using Firefox. I'm going to try IE (if it'll actually work) and see if it happens on that as well.
EDIT: Of course, it does not. F'ing IE...

Plus, did you know that every seemingly good time you brose in the internet explorer, you kill a poor inoocent firefox! I've better throw out my computer right away so some damn fictious promotional animals won't be killed to my expanse.

Me too, and I am using Firefox. I am going to increase security and see if that stops it. Maybe some malicious java scripts.

We're working on this error. We're very sorry for the annoyance. We should have it fixed shortly.
We think it may be something running on one of the external banner exchanges. We're working on isolating the correct source.

Redirects to "Vampire Rave"
What is the story with this? Are other people getting automatically redirected to a site called "Vampire Rave" when using the forums here?

I put the ip 72.51.43.246 in my forbidden site list and that stopped it.

Thanks for letting us know. It is a relief to know that the admins are aware of it and looking into it.

The admins are aware of it and trying to identify the source.

errr... I spoke too soon earlier. I've been redirected to that site a couple times now. I'm glad to hear the admins are working on it though.

Ahh. I have a very efficient ad-blocker. That'll be why I'm not having problems.

The ironic thing is that I've been redirected twice to Vampire Rave by clicking on this thread.

Glad to see this problem is being sorted out. Those redirects are such a pain. They're almost as bad as those blasted Ipod banners that have been circulating, the ones that have this annoying woman interrupt my music to congratulate me on winning or something...

I have a flash blocker to stop those too.

Hasn't happened to me yet - must be horribly annoying, though.
