I found true happiness! It's either flying in my plane thousands of feet over the San Francisco Bay after graduation or singing along to my i-pod, in my room, dancing like a maniac.

There are a lot of things that make me happy, but at the top of the list would be:

1) When Christy is sincerely happy. He's been having such a tough time with his Schizophrenia, so when I see him really feeling good, it's just amazing. Almost makes me wanna cry when he finally gets out of a nasty relapse, pathetic as it sounds.
2) Looking at pictures of my sister. I can always just hear her laughing, and she doesn't feel so far away.
3) Thunderstorms. I love the rain. 'Nuff said.
4) Reading a really good book.
5) Just sitting and watching the world around me. You learn so many things that way.

Of course you may. I'd be insulted if you didn't.

I can name off some things that bring me joy...

THUNDERSTORMS and rain on a metal roof.

A good book during a storm

A good coffee to go with

The lots and lots and lots of happy people at the clubs

New Wave music and Darkwave

I will second the New and Darkwave music.

As for more material happiness,

The pitter-patter of footsteps on the desolate ground.

Rain that seems to fall like tears, purging misery

from the intrepid skies.

Car rides, and the clouds that seem to vast

and elusive to be tangible.

When 'that poem' is finally finished, and the person I was

writing about can tell me how speechless I made them.

Making an impact on others' lives.

Receiving an A in A.P after working my heart out all year.

Achieving my dreams.

Inspiration, and, similar what I've said before, being inspired.

Indeed, it is very good to read all these methods of obtaining happiness. Indeed, I find that some kinds of music lubricate the transition to that truely happy mood, but don't necessarily bring it, it needs a bit more extra oompf sometimes.

will im truly happy when i wake up about 1 am in the morning to the sound of music, the song that i always listen too sounds like something new and exciting and yet something very familiar to it, its the best feeling.

after that i found out there is no hot water and crash on the floor and cry.

Curling up with a good book during a thunderstorm, finishing a drawing I've been working on for the past 3 hours, getting comments on things I post online, receiving a package I have been waiting for, and taking pictures in a snowstorm.
