We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in South Africa, but for the sake of this thread -

Yesterday I was walking to my fencing class, thinking about how the instructor was probably going to make us do push-ups and sit-ups and stuff like that and how I detest those exercises, when upon entering the sport building, I noticed a man in a wheelchair with both legs amputated looking at a photo-wall of the club champions. That suddenly made realize how lilttle regard I hold for having a normal body.

So, I am thankful that at least I CAN do sit-ups and push-ups.

I am thankful for each day I wake up, my family and health, my friends, my employment, in short, EVERYTHING!

We don't have thankgiving in my country, but that won't keep me from saying:

Happy Thanksgiving, you turkeys!

(and a chance to mention that Spoon's avatar rocks. )

I'm thankful we don't have a Thanksgiving day in Blighty :P

Seriously, I'm thankful for all of the wonderful people in my life, for being so luck to indulge myself in education, and for my relative good health.

Happy Thanksgiving America!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I'm thankful for the snowday (yes!) as well as my friends, having a roof over my head, my family, and anything small that I may have fogotten or taken for granted.
