The thing about that pic, Jillian is the militant attitude with the flier. While noble and good, any action that you use against the force that we know today is going to have to be something more than blocking streets, singing songs, and holding hands.
Peaceful protest is easily ignored. It's a privilege that we are given. The ones in power can and WILL ignore you.
We can make all the arty movies we want, but in the end, who's going to throw the brick through the white house windows?
Who's going to tell the ones who run their huge corporations without any regard to the well being of the common person and quality of life, "Fuck you, you don't own me, and I'll be damned if I live to what you deem as fair standards."
They're not going to just GIVE you what you deserve as a human being. They will not have a change of heart.
It's just annoying. I see that flier and they're saying inaction is violence and all I can think is, "Really. Is that the best they can do? A movie?"
Sorry to sound all angst ridden. But for the moment, it's the best I can come up with to articulate what that flier makes me think.

I'm not sure I understand your point, to be honest.
You're talking about more than simple peaceful protest, right? Well, the Weathermen were all about that.
Their entire Bring the War Home idea was to cause so much trouble and so much conflict that the troops would be forced out of Vietnam to fight them.

The ones and only. Although Mark Rudd is now a pacifist. I think he's going to talk about why his group failed.

That sucks, we had the hand span rule: any skirt had to be longer then the tip of your thumb to the tip of your pinky (this resulted in some very sketchy skirts)

Ours is 4 inches above the knee. We aren't allowed to go any shorter than that, but I've got extremely long legs, and when I wear a shorter skirt with striped tights, it tends to make them look even longer. Due to an incident with a teacher who stands at the top of the stairs I go up everyday, I don't wear any shorter skirts anymore. It's just easier to know, knee length, they can't get me for anything.

I'm not sure about being sent home, but our skirts are also supposed to be to the tips of our longest finger. I just don't really give a shit. I've only gotten in trouble once, and since then I've simply avoided the principals. My teachers couldn't care less. They think I'm cute (in that four-year-old child kind of way). :]
P.S. former Sekhmet, you're still hot.

You can't really make anything out from a negative image really and doing a negative because your cam can do it or because it's "neato" to do so is sort of silly.
Show those pretty dark eyes and dark wavy hair, man. Don't be shy.

The only pic I have of me dressed normally(goth)is really bad,I've gotta the camera back from my friend and take a better one.
Well what's it matter I'll put it up anway.
