Absolutely.
And I could have sworn that a thread like this has been posted before.

I have the same problem. My hair is long, brown, with no layers, bangs or anything. I can't decide if I even want to cut/dye it and when I do think about it I have no idea what to do with it. I like having my natural hair color, because that's a rarity, but brown hair pretty much ruins a black/white, black/purple, or just black outfit :P

If you have brown hair, yes, you do want to dye it. Unless it's a really pretty rich reddish brown, in which case it'll go with a lot of gothic ****** stuff.

Just dye it man
I thought about it for a while when I was in grade 6, then dyed it and never been happier, neither did I stop since.

If you're not prepared to make a drastic change to your hair, you can just add black and mauve ribbons, bows, or lace.

I'm definitely getting it cut or layered because it needs some volume. But I think I'm going to get some temporary black dye just to see if I like it or not.
Bows and ribbons look so cute but I don't know how to make bows... I bought a bunch of ribbon and now it's just sitting in my room, lol.

Backcombing is the best.
When you wanna brush it out though, wash your hair and put in some conditioner and detangle with the conditioner still in, it helps the tangles fall out alot more easily.

If you have ridiculously waist-length-or-below long hair, backcombing willl be a nightmare.
Try different dyes- streaks and stripes of something that contrasts well with your natural colour, maybe. I have very long, very straight hair, and I love to put a graded dye into it. My hair remains its natural colour at the roots, and at the tips it's a strong raspberry-red, fading from one to the other. You'll need a friend with a good eye to help, as getting the grading even at the back of your head is not easy.

I really wany a deathhawk but I don't know if I'll be able to put it up to be honest. My hairstye at the moment is short black, teased, that;s a little longer at the front, but I'm getting really bored with it now... I'd love a black hawk with purple or green sides.
I was gonna post a picture of what my hair's like but it's told me I can't apparently lol
xXx.
