Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Ah, I'm not too fond of pop punk, but I admit I used to like Green Day a lot

It seems several people here greatly dislike Pop punk, it's cool, though.

Are they good? Hmmm...catchy '80's pop...well I hate to admit that I do like them. I don't know if they'd come into the "good" category though ;-p

I actually bought that Modern Rock collection off the TV, the guilty part was buying something off TV. The pleasure was, well, what can I say New Wave was pretty good. What is funny is when it was popular I was a metalhead and would have laughed at some of the music. Then again as a small child I though Boy George was quite attractive, which is probably why I grew up so confused *weeps*

That's not guilty pleasure, that's knowing ones roots right there, and c'mon, don't fear the reaper was and still is a freaking classic now if you had said disco...

I love Bright Eyes, not ashamed of it
but most people either hate them or
love them because many consider them 'emo'
even though they're definately not of that genre
but indie folk.

Guess I'm used to talking to elitist Death Rockers who slam me for having "Secret Treaties", "Sad Wings of Destiny" or "Salisbury" in my CD Player.
I do own the "Night at the Roxbury" soundtrack.

I'll listen to just about anything and everything. I do like the Beach Boys... and Queen. And I do listen to MCR, but mostly their older stuff. There is some stuff on the radio I like, don't know the names of most of it, but when it comes on, I sing.

G.L likes to sing along to "Rio" when nobody's around. And "A View to a Kill," too. That song is pure poppy goodness.
Blue Öyster Cult needs more love!

I have to say one of my guilty pleasures used to be lynyrd skynyrd, freebird was great and still say the best I have ever seen it used was in the end of Devil's rejects when they charged the cops.
