Real emos and real goths will agree too. But people that boast are neither of these. Besides there are more fake goths boasting about cutting than fake emos as far as I've seen.

Actually, I have co-workers that joke about emos. It's rather annoying. It's not like I'm interested.

What's weird is that I have this new nickname "Nemo"-- the N is for nerdy and the rest speaks for itself.

They were a bunch of thieving bastards to! They got me in so much shit through pier pressure you would not believe.

The males wore women's skinny jeans for fuck sake!

They then dropped me because I was going through a rough time and they didnt want to deal with that. But im tempted to bash their heads in...

But back on track I find now that anyone under 15 has no idea what a goth actually is and over 30s are the only people i've met who know what the hell goth music is. In my old school everyone thought I was Emo until I had to explain that I was goth. Although I did self harm for a while I was never emo...

Also they have completely ruined bands such as my chemical romance with their emo shit who say they are emo.. They are alternative punk you Fucking retards! Im now satanist to a lot of people which apparently means I sacrifice animals...

Sorry but if emos didn't exist then goth would still be known as what it actually is.

Oh yeah and marilyn manson thanks for completely stereotyping our culture you jackass...

Wii post

Omg it took 25 minutes to write that on this stupid video game console!
oh my! Other than your hatred for emos, you read my mind. However, I did my research, and although I am quite young, I know what goth is.

Nemo also means "Nobody" in Latin. I think.

What do you call 20,000 emos on the bottom of the ocean?

A good start.

How does one officially hate emos? Has it become so socially acceptable to be bigoted that you can actually fill out something to make it official?
Sometimes events like in The Omega Man and Dr. Strangelove seem the best path for humankind to choose.

actually tho, I did have to laugh when I asked a friend what exactly "emo" was and she described it as someone who refuses sex just so they could go home and bitch about it on live journal.

Personally, everyone has to start somewhere, if they languish in emo land that's their business but not everyone was born knowing their Bauhaus from the Love And Rockets or knowing that "Dead Souls" was a song by Joy Division only covered by Nine Inch Nails on the Crow Soundtrack etc. So *shrugs*, let the emo be emo if it makes them happy. Not like we're trying to win a popularity contest and suddenly gain fucking acceptance by the rest of society.
