Well it all depends on how much mass they have.

What I said was in fact based on the black hole in the Milky Way, because I used to believe the galaxy would eventually collapse in on itself because of it, and I thought we were talking about something of the sorts.
I kinda thought so, sorry if I came off in any sort of condescending tone

Agreed, this one is 18 billion solar masses (talk about a super massive black hole) the one orbiting it is quite large if I remember correctly.

Don't worry about jacking my thread. I'm glad to finally have found a place that seems to have a higher IQ than the rest of the internet.

We still do like the occasional lolcat, overwhelming use of internet memes, and can't control ourselves when we see a bunny with a pancake on its head, though.

I think we have a much better chance of Andromeda smashing into us before the galaxy implodes into its own black hole. If I remember right, we only have a few million years left.

Yeah, of course april fools day 2019 may be pretty fun, asteroid being close enough to hit us and all. Then again according to the Mayan calendar we only have until Dec 23 2012 before time ends. Gives me an excuse to procrastinate on shopping for solstice that year

It used to be my background

But then I thought a picture of a monk performing self-immolation would be a better picture for my mouse pointer to hover around. (Thich Quang Duc ftw)

That was a sad picture of the persecution the buddhists went through in So. Vietnam

Technically it wasn't a picture of a persecution, but of a protest.
That's a real man. He's one of my heroes. A little better than Jesus because Jesus just accepted it, but Thich, he made it happen!

Oh I know it was an act of protest, I just went to the cause. And amen.
