Believe it or not, there is a real Japanese Goth community - not just your average cos-playing goth-loli, but real, we like super-toxic-waste-exploding industrial aural assault kind of Goths. I've been out of the scene for a while, but still keep in contact with some of the crowd.

Japan has one of the best hardcore punk scenes in the world. Most of my favorite hc punk bands are from there: Disclose, Confuse, The SS, Systematic Death, Lip Cream, Z, Outo, Stalin, Gauze, GISM. The real shit.

Nice generalizing, I noticed you didn't answer any of my points. Yes a single person can make a difference but race has nothing to do with it. The achievements of you ancestors do not make you a better person.
I can understand if you mean your proud of a certain culture that you are part of because that does require certain effort on the part of the individual person. Culture =/= race

No, but in a lot of cases, except with people who's families immigrated a couple generations ago, culture is somewhat tied with race.
