Happy Thanksgiving Saya
I'm seeing the mother ship rise from the horizon while our neighbors are doing it.
Then i take a bow and rap myself in a cape then ride a black horse into the night... Maybe we'll catch the mother ship...
Watch out all of you... Aliens are watching us while enjoying the moans of the neighbor's wife
That was my half-closed eyes speaking
Now for the half-open, please ignore whatever.
Who turned off the lights?
HELP!! THE ALIENS GOT ME!! Wait, false alarm.
Urgh
Good night

I'm kinda happy because she's a friend of the family and incredibly outgoing/hyper and if I know her 50 people will be calling me by the end of next week asking me about pressure washing their house.
I need the money.

My mother works at a call center. It's pretty... interesting... there.
I don't really have to support myself, but we're getting into some financial trouble and want to start buying my own stuff like clothing, etc. but any place that offers a steady paycheck doesn't hire 15-year-olds so I need some odd jobs.

Yeah call centers are a hoot >.> I used to work for one that did billing for a Canadian company called Rogers and I used to do tech support for Comcast.
Thats awesome though, its great when you have your own money, you have more of a say on what you buy that way.

I'm more fond of Yves' vegetarian chicken nuggets. I swear they taste suspiciously accurate. They also used to make awesome faux corn dogs but I can't find them anymore

Saya, if you want to try something delicious and veggie, can you get Quorn there? If so, they make veggie chicken nuggets that are so yummie I could eat them right out of the bag.

Try food places, or small places like water ice stands or juice bars.
Often those types of places will overlook your age.

As Ophelia said, food places. You could also give small businesses a shot, you might find some work as a secretary or something. When I was 15 I got a part time job in a Garage as a welder

If you can't find a steady job and are looking for odd jobs then check out Craigslist's gig section.
Also if you are looking for a steady job then as Ophelia and Jack said the food and service industry tends to be willing to higher younger people, even if they wont take you on as a server you can still make decent money as a host or busser. Small businesses are also a good idea because they are more personal and are more likely to look at your competency than your age.

It isn't really that they're looking at your competency versus your age, it's that they're more willing to break laws because they're under the radar.
