Children are murdered throughout the year. Some sad statistics from the Center for Disease Control:

1-4 years of age

Number of deaths: 4,756

Deaths per 100,000 population: 29.4

Number of deaths for leading causes of death

Accidents (unintentional injuries): 1,664

Congenital malformations: 522

5-14 years of age

Number of deaths: 6,602

Deaths per 100,000 population: 16.3

Number of deaths for leading causes of death

Accidents (unintentional injuries): 2,415

Cancer: 1,000

Removing Accidents and Disease from the above leaves approximately 7,000 deaths a year, 19 a DAY, due to other causes, which I assume is murder (severe child abuse).

Thats fucking sick. If scientists stopped playing God, and tried to find cures for cancer, things would be a lot easier.

my foster mom says she doesnt knwo hwo people can give away perfectly good kids. i have to wonder as well. but at least they're giving htem away rather than killing them.

Wouldn't trying to find a cure for cancer be kinda like playing God?

And how would a cure of cancer prevent people from beating their children to death? I can see it now...
