Anyone have any special plans for the night? I love hokey little get togethers, costume parties if you will, but if I can't find a location for such I'm hoping to find a secluded place for a bonfire and drinking...a sort of Walpurgisnacht with fellow gloomcookies.

I found something interesting in my closet and now I have decided that I will be going as Poison Ivy. I'm really happy with the design I have dreamed up and it shouldn't be too difficult or expensive.

That sounds like lots of fun, Count.
I've planned out my trick-or-treat theatre, at last. My porch has a central stair, and if you turn to the right you come to the bandstand porch. In this I'll put a table, chairs, mystical items, and have my sister-in-law read tarot for people (charging them one piece of candy). If you turn to the left, though, you go down a long porch that wraps around. This I'll make into a heavily cobwebbed, foggy tunnel with Mr S in his coffin at the end, and startle effects sprinkled along the way. Those brave souls who make it to him will get candy. I wish I were able to be one of the actors from the beginning, but it's my year to take the kiddies round the neighbourhood. I'll probably stand in for Mr S once I get back, and give him a break. I usually play a spooky sounds/eerie music CD, but this time I've made a holiday-appropriate compilation of some actual songs that I'd want to listen to if I were standing there all night. Those prepackaged Hallowe'en CDs get old fast.

I wish I had someone to accompany me as Dream. Now THAT would be a kickass duo.

Hmm. I have special plans. I'll be in a pub in central Cardiff, drinking like a fish!

I'm going as a guy who gets to stay home and watch movies, possessed of a will so resilient that he cannot, by any means, be roped into throwing or even attending a party. Should be my best get up yet.

Quite possibly the most original disguise put forth in this thread yet. Well done, sir! Though your declaration does get one to wondering what enticement could possibly be effective in uprooting you from your private film festival on that night.

I am hoping that a friend of mine will host another Halloween party this year. Otherwise, I will be all dressed up with nowhere to go.

We think alike at the matter.
One should tie us by a rope and drag us out of our home before we're hypnotized by the television more.

Mm, daring! I don't know how you can stand the uncertainty, the adrenaline rush, the spontaneity - you are truly a visionary man with uncommon courage : )

I saw a picture of a lady wearing a rather accurate Harley Quinn costume a few days ago, and I want it.
