I'm rather unhappy with my mother. I have been running around quite a bit trying to get the Subaru taken care of but there really isn't much that I can do as it is technically her vehicle. I really don't like (or have time) to drive 4 hours (eight round trip) to get the car inspected (her area requires an emissions inspection in addition to a regular state inspection but they are not required or performed in this area) and the registration is expired. I can't even get temporary decals myself as her signature is required. Today I was faxing her a copy of a form (my apartment complex's office as they were nice enough to let me use their fax) for her to fill out and then send to the DMV (a form that would give me temporary power of attorney so that I could at least deal with getting temporary decals and that I went to the DMV to get because she "doesn't have time" to the DMV herself) and I was on the phone with my mother as I was sending her the fax to make sure that it went though alright and I mentioned that I was getting frustrated always having to do this kind of thing for the car. I also said rather flatly that I think it is time to put my name on the title (not transfer it to me just add my name) since I am the one that takes care of everything for the car except for the insurance policy. Apparently this is unacceptable for her as she went off telling me that she is shocked by how narrow-minded and self-centered I'm being and spent about 10 minutes telling me how ungrateful I am, all because I am sick of having the car's registration laps every time that it needs to be renewed because I don't have the ability to take care of it myself and she wont take care of it herself. Bah I hardly even drive the thing other than driving up to see her as I can walk just about anywhere I need to go around here and if I am going on more than a quick trip Jake and I go together and his car has better fuel efficiency.

Oh and she is pissed because I may not be going home for Thanksgiving and she thought that I had told her that I was going, despite the fact that I had said "If Jake doesn't have to work then we will go up there" to her this means that I would be going and if Jake didn't have work then he would come with me, I'm still not sure why she though that. Like hell do I want to spend Thanksgiving away from my fiance, I already know that I wont see him for at least a week around Christmas because I will be spending it with my mother.

Today I fell at the uni pretty bad, I`m just starting to feel my hip bone hurt and I feel like it`s gonna be a NASTY bruise on my hip and arm.

I'm actually having a really good week because of you three.

First, I discovered that our workload system tracks number of completed tasks per day, and that my coworker has one eighth the tasks completed that the rest of the crew does. I showed him the papers, called my boss an idiot (in kinder terms), and now he's working on getting my coworker back on track. Now my coworker hates my ass, but at least he's pulling his weight.

Second, I worked out a system with my mom. If I move back in with her, then I can stay there until I find a job. Once I've found a job, I'll pay my share of the rent, utilities and groceries.

Third, that roommate.com really brightened my views. I looked around, and there appears to be rooms nearby some of the universities I want to go to. So as soon as I hear back from any of the universities, I can find a place around the university and live there.

This is the first time I've felt really good about myself in a while. Thank you.

That's just it, if I wont do the paperwork then she wont let me use the car. She also knows how to do it all (she does it for her own car) it just gets a lot more complicated trying to do it while your name isn't on the title and she doesn't understand how much running around I have to do in order to get things taken care of without her having to go anywhere. She also doesn't seem to understand how adding someone to a title works as she seems to think that it will be a major hassle for her and that once she does it I'm just going to run off and sell the car or something.

My man and I are butting heads about me going back to school. I got my schedule for the quarter yesterday but he decides to wait until last week to tell me that he thinks it's not the right time for us to be doing this and that he doesn't have confidence that I can pass the classes. I do see the wisdom behind what he's been saying but I am 99% set to start classes on schedule.

My boss was apparently storing a tux of his in the cleaning closet with the maintenance equipment at work and now it's gone. He's blaming everyone who works there and scaring the housekeepers by telling them he's going to call the cops on them, even though he has no proof anybody took anything. Also, why the hell would any of us want his crusty old suit? He's either vastly bigger, smaller or of a different gender than every single person employed there.

Also why the fuck would some dumbass keep a suit in a fucking maintenance closet at their place of employment? Why can't he just take his shit home instead of dumping it all over the office?

He called me and blamed me even though I haven't been there for three days.
