Nothing will ever pass the Nosferatu silent film.
That is a classic, and the best out there.

Weren't they sued for plagiarism for making that movie?

Indeed.
But it doesn't change the
fact that it was a great movie.

So you're more into stolen art than original. Cool.

Huh.
Nice try.
No, I do prefer originality.
But all I am saying is that,
regardless of it being stolen
or not, it was still a good movie.

Jesus fuck, Bleed, how can you tolerate this? Newbies with almost as many posts come to your thread and pretend that they know what the fuck they're talking about?

You're good. I like the Shining but I'm with Ben on this one. But.... fuck! Everyone came here and dissed a glorious movie and then they come up with shit like "the crow" and "nosferatu"? Nosferatu fucking sucks.
Everyone here was an idiot save for Ben and you.

Which Nosferatu are we talking about? I only saw the silent but when Jonathan opens up the coffin and he's lying there it genuinely creeps me out. And I just like the idea of Dracula as a terrifying monster than lets say a misunderstood creature who Mina falls in love with. As far as Dracula movies go, there's been far worse.

I love the Shining, for all its flaws. Yeah it deviated from the book but I guess it just didn't bother me since I didn't read it until after. I love old Nicholson films too (even in The Terror where he's our hero he seems to emit pure evil), he still scares me. And I love mimicking the Duval run, you know at the end when she's running around with a knife flailing her arms? Kills me every time.
