Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL.

1969 Was Fine (another band of mine)

OK, shameless self-promotion again !!! "1969 Was Fine" is another band I play in, and I thought some of you might be interested in it, given our influences : Iggy & The Stooges, The Lords Of The New Church, Foetus, Chrome, Hawkwind, The Cramps, Swans... Somewhere between afterpunk, primitive rock'n'roll and space rock. With two basses and a saxophone, just to step a bit outside of "classic" rock'n'roll...

I just added a live version of Pere Ubu's Final Solution that we recorded yesterday, it's EPICLY out of tune and I confused most of the lyrics, but anyway, who cares ???

Honestly, that's an awesome name for a band.
It reminds me of the graffiti that said Toy Story 2 was ok.
Plus, you got a saxophone somewhere in there. I'll make sure to check you when I get home.

to be honest, it comes from the infamous "Spahn Dirge" by Skinny Puppy, a song I've always been quite obesessed by.

It's a full gig, clean remastered audience recording, that took place June 21th, featuring some covers : Final Solution, Sex Beat, Fever....
