Good Goth Foundations...?
Has anyone tried any of the foundations on goodgoth.com? They have Mint, Lavender, Alabaster (white), and Cameo(pale/natural?), and Im interesting in all of them.

I have tried the lavender in the 'oil-free' variation. Unfortunately it was not very good, no coverage at all. You might have better luck with the original formulation, but I couldn't say for sure.

No one looks finished without foundation!
I've heard very good things about Manic Panic's foundation from Goths who do wear whiteface regularly.
If you're going to go whiteface TAKE YOUR FUCKING TIME AND MAKE SURE YOUR COVERAGE IS EVEN!!!! So many get it wrong because they are lazy fucks who can't be arsed to spend more than a few minutes on their foundation.
Also, wash your damned face before applying makeup!

Blech, I hate visible foundation. Looks like you're suffocating in there.

It *does* get a little itchy, though if properly applied it's not too bad. I don't wear foundation much at all any more though, I've gotten too used to "going naked". That and it's way too hot here, you'd sweat it all off in a matter of minutes.
The manic panic powder isn't too bad though, and it does help control oil. Buildability is iffy though, especially if you have combination skin as it sticks differently in different areas. I haven't used the cream stuff yet, if I want white face I just pick up a tray of clown white and mix it with regular foundation (the result is a natural shade, but hey, we wanna look naturally unnatural, right?). I don't wear it often enough to justify the expense of buying the MP stuff.

^ Hmm, that's an idea; I never thought of mixing and matching like that. [Then again, I just started getting into the idea of wearing make-up on a regular basis.]

Tam's gotta be pretty old for that insult to have any merit.
