My hair is currently very short, and red, but a natural looking red.

Mine, as of early this afternoon!
Happy to be back to black!
Hopefully in a couple weeks (or sooner?) I will be going in for a re-cut

I like your shirt! Also your hair looks really shiny and healthy.
Hair is medium/long and black. I really hate long sideswept bangs but everyone keeps telling me how much nicer they look on my face as opposed to short straight cut bangs. I hate them. I'm sure they do look better, considering the cowlicks at the front of my forehead make all bangs go wonky but especially short ones.
I just don't like how I have to either bobby pin them back or keep fixing them all day with my fingers so that by the end of the day my bangs are greasy and gross from being touched so much.

I've been letting my bangs grow out. They are now past my chin and are no longer 'bangs'. It feels odd not to have bangs anymore. Still dying it black and I will be until the day I die.

A bit below my chin and blonde. I dye it red with semi permanent, but it's washed out.

One part emocut and one part soccer mom, I would say. My hair is naturally a pleasant blonde, and the look is easygoing enough to quell the fears of prospective employers, and just edgy enough to make my inner punk smirk.

I'd like to see a picture of that cut, Llyallowyn
My hair is pretty much the same as last time I posted but I think I may redye it tonight so it's pretty and fresh for my sweetie's impending arrival. I can see about an inch of roots, and the rest of the color is a little faded as well.

It looks like shit but that is all part of growing out a pixie cut (not to mention the hair dye that I'm too lazy/cheap to use a demiperm dye to match up to my natural color). Thankfully I have a face that works with pretty much every single cut, even the super crappy ones.

Right now, my hair is down to the middle of my waist and henna'd. The ends are kind of damaged and my hair tangles extremely easily, to the point where every morning half my hair is almost in dreads just from me sleeping on it I've been thinking of cutting it short for a while but I'm too much of a wuss to just go for it. My question for this lovely forum is, what's your recommendation for someone with a heart shaped face, chipmunky cheeks, and hair that has absolutely no volume whatsoever? I just want some ideas for a shorter haircut that isn't too poofy, because my hair falls completely flat on my head

Photos.
Mine is a bit of a mess since i let mom cut it for me, it's always cut with a razor but mom did it with scissors and now i have these obvious cut lines through out my hair..
it goes to my jaw line infront on the right side and on the left side it's a bit longer.. so it's an uneven bob.
I'm growing out my natural-colored hair so it's from root down brown-> red-> blond

As dark brown as I can dye it, with a fringe and shoulder length and getting longer. But my hair hangs onto the henna in the dyes. *stupid friggin hair*
Thinking about going ash-blonde, because since I've gone dark, I'm just not getting the same quality of jokes that I did before...

It's supposed to be dark red, but looks more black.
Haha my shirt is kinda emo looking, I pulled it out of the closet apparently it fits again. Not exactly any particular fashion statement. Just random.

A nice chin length bob with short-ish bangs always looks nice. Most folks with heart shaped faces have wider foreheads, so having bangs minimizes awkward space up there. Pixie cuts usually look good on heart-shapers who dont have a for rent sign on their foreheads. =p Here is a link for more ideas: http://beauty.about.com/od/bestcutsb...irstyles_4.htm
There are thickening products (pantene full and thick) and styling techniques, like blowdrying your hair upside down and teasing with a little mousse and ample hairspray. It makes a difference. I would also try a product called It's A 10. That stuff was amazing with my hair. It made it instantly soft and helped it heal damaged ends in about a week, though you sound like you might need a trim or more time than that.
Cutting your hair radically shorter is a HUGE gamble, I know that from experience. I recently got mine cut from the middle of my back to shoulder length, and I have learned to love it as much as having long, wavy locks. I'm a bit wordy, but I hope I helped a bit. You'd think I am the world's peppiest Goth, and you wouldn't be incorrect.

I just got it cut chin-length yesterday. It's cute, but not the best cut I've ever had...
My hair was easier to tease out when it was longer.
