Stream of concious stuff...

Layers of black
Peel back
Old paint
Revealing gray wood
No face
And no place
To call my own
That's me
A traveling man made of old wood
Bits of graffiti on my body
Like old scars from brighter days
Are the working of others
Between point A and point B
I am nothing and I am me
Layers of black paint peel off
An image of a miscolored sunburn
Peeling. I'm peeling.

I really like this, confessional in the vein of Plath and Sexton, but with a darker twist...

It's beautiful.

And it's not stereotypical (see: shitty) goth poetry, which is fantastic.

Thanks...

As it seems to be my custom, I tend to re-evaluate myself on a near yearly basis.

As it stands right now, part of me wonders if I've compromised my contrary nature in the name of playing up certain characteristics of myself that in the end, makes me a caricature of who I really am.

Lately I've been thinking that a certain word is not a good enough justification for who I am and in that, it feels kinda lonely. Oh well.

its so simple yet so intricate i love it. at first glance its simple, but when you actually look at it. it's formed into an ornate sense of words and drawings in my head maybe im on crack but i could actually see everything...

Very nice. I understand the feeling of self-caricature; it's always a risk one runs when consciously trying to manipulate one's image.

Absolutely lovely. I wrote something a bit in this vein a while back. *decides to try and go through her old backups to dig it out*
